🔥 Interactive map filters are now available in NextGIS Web

Complex filters can now be applied directly to the map, affecting which features are rendered, not just what appears in attribute tables.

These rendering filters are also available via the HTTP API, making it much easier to implement custom filtering when building external map applications on top of NextGIS Web.

Filter is located in a layer context menu

We’ve been waiting for it for years! Very good.
Need a mechanism to “remember” filter settings for future use.

Next iterations would bring filter presets on web maps, sharing capabilities etc.

Right now you have a trick to save a filter. Switch to JSON mode and copy the code. Paste it to rebuilt the filter.
