As far as I understand, there are a few ways to organize team data editing: wfs, ogc api features and built-in sync.
What would you recommend using in which situations (and why)? Any practical tips or pitfalls to watch for?

If you work in QGIS, we strongly recommend always using the native sync mechanism. Just connect to a project or layer via NextGIS Connect and start editing, you’ll see the sync status right next to the layer name.
This approach ensures proper conflict resolution, history tracking, and related collaboration features.
OGC WFS and OGC API - Features are best for connecting your data to GIS applications other than QGIS, so you can access/edit the same data from those tools as well.
